They said it couldn’t be done

My name is Wade Nadler, and after 25 years of dedicated service at AT&T, I recently retired to pursue a lifelong dream: sailing solo around the world. Before my career at AT&T, I served as a nuclear engineer in the Navy.

To date, approximately 200 people have completed a solo circumnavigation of the globe—more people have climbed Mt. Everest. My goal is to take this challenge even further. I plan to circumnavigate the Southern Hemisphere, following the typical route, and then continue north to navigate the Arctic in the Northern Hemisphere. Some say it can’t be done. But history has shown that what seems impossible today becomes the norm tomorrow—whether it’s breaking the 4-minute mile or summiting Everest.

My mission is to become the first person to circumnavigate both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres back-to-back, nonstop. I invite you to join me on this extraordinary journey, either as a patron or a sponsor. The publicity will be significant—just imagine your logo emblazoned on my sails as I embark on this unprecedented adventure.
